Resources for Education
Our Educational resources are designed to help young people understand the vital role of policing in a civil society while recognising the courage and sacrifice of those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our communities. Aimed at 8 to 18-year-olds, this initiative ensures that the contributions of our police service are remembered and respected by future generations.
Developed in collaboration with the National Memorial Arboretum Learning Team and the University of Staffordshire Institute of Policing, our educational resources aim to deepen students’ understanding of the Peelian Principles, promote responsible citizenship, and strengthen trust between communities and law enforcement.
Beyond policing, these resources address broader societal challenges, including law and order, community cohesion, and the responsibilities of active citizenship. Through engaging and interactive content, students will explore key themes such as policing history, ethical decision-making, and the wider impact of policing on society.
