Dedication of the Memorial

The UK Police Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire was dedicated on July 28, 2021, in the presence of His Majesty the King (then HRH The Prince of Wales), Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Home Secretary Priti Patel, families of the fallen, senior policing leaders, representatives from policing charities, as well as donors and sponsors who helped bring the Memorial to life. This poignant and solemn occasion marked a historic landmark in commemorating the fallen from our police service.

Thanks to the efforts of a dedicated team of volunteers, the memorial now stands as a lasting place of remembrance, ensuring the sacrifices of those from across UK policing are honoured for generations to come.
