Commemorating the Fallen

Plans are well underway to develop the world’s first virtual Digital Remembrance Programme, honouring those who have dedicated their lives to policing. In collaboration with our valued partners, the Police Remembrance Trust and the Police History Society, we are creating a series of individual and thematic tributes to commemorate fallen members of the UK’s police service.

Shaped by an extensive national consultation—including a comprehensive survey reflecting the views of over 200,000 people—the programme will share the personal stories of those behind the badge who have made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting our communities and upholding our freedoms. Harnessing the power of digital innovation, this initiative programme will redefine remembrance, ensuring that our vision in honouring lives lost but also by celebrating lives lived is fulfilled.
